The Grand Finale | Signature Black by Nørding & C&D Byzantium Review

Today marks the final installment of my week-long showcase of Erik Nørding pipes, and I’m closing out the series with the stunning Signature Black by Nørding. Featuring dramatic contrast grain, organic Danish freehand shaping, and Erik Nørding’s own signature, it’s a fitting way to end a wonderful week of beautiful pipes. In the bowl, I’m enjoying Byzantium by Cornell & Diehl, a rich Balkan blend with layers of smoky Latakia, fragrant Orientals, and a touch of perique. Along the way, I revisit every Nørding pipe featured throughout the week, share my thoughts on each one, and talk about my experiences so far with Balkan blends.
